How does the Varilease Product work?
Varilease is the supply of a new (or nearly new) car for
a short, pre-determined period. We will arrange the car and insurance
based upon stock availability on the day we receive your order.
What
is included in the monthly rate?
You can calculate the rate payable by selecting a size
of car from the attached list, find the price, add VAT, read carefully
and select the insurance band that is relevant to you, add the prices
together and that will be the regular payment amount. Payments are taken
in arrears, by Direct Debit, for each 28 days of hire. You are responsible
for fuel and daily top-ups of oil and water.
Do
I pay a deposit?
Before taking the car you are required to pay a Vehicle
Re-charge Bond. This is held on your account to pay for any damage, excess
charges or other amounts owing to us prior to the contract finishing.
At the end of your contract, with your account clear of any invoices
outstanding, this will either be used as a bond on your next vehicle
or returned to you.
Do
I pay for servicing?
Many Varilease vehicles provided will not require servicing
during your period of hire. Where they do, this must be done in accordance
with the manufacturers stipulated service criteria. You will be issued
with a voucher to pay for this but you are responsible for ensuring that
it is done. Your vehicle will also be covered for breakdown and accident
assistance.
What
other costs might be charged?
Other costs are incurred by you in the following instances:
- Delivery
and/or collection charge if you request this service
- Any
damage to the vehicle
- Loss
of any items of equipment
- A £100
penalty for missing the scheduled service interval
- Any
excess mileage over the amount allowed by your contract
- Administration
charges for any fines, parking or congestion penalties
How
do I order a vehicle?
Post a fully completed Vehicle Order Form, Varilease Application,
Insurance Application, one copy of a utility bill and one photograph
as proof of ID to our Customer Services Team. We will undertake credit
and identity checks and contact you within 48hrs to discuss vehicle availability.
A full contract pack will be sent to you including payment instructions.
